To uae_alias: Just pointing out the human side of Israelis rather than the government...

To Buj: This blogger from the Israeli high tech industry says Cisco and Marvell have assets in Israel. There's probably far more than just those. I remember seeing on the BBC (I think) a feature about this kibbutz that works on making eye contact lenses... Speaking of kibbutzim, us Arabs should start taking a look at the kibbutzim, they're quite efficient mini-societies.

interesting.. thnx for the link..most interesting!
actually i have an israeli product.. but i think it's the only product i know that i own.

kibbutz.. well.. i read this book a few yrs ago as a result of it being translated to arabic in the magazine Al-Arabi published in Kuwait. I love that mag. It's a proper Arabic National Geographic.

Anyway they also led me to discover the Al Saqi bookshop. All lovely.

Anyway I cannot remember the book's title but it was about kibbutzs (if that's the plural) in early Israel.

Kibbutzim.

There's a hell of a lot of books that need translation into Arabic. We've got a serious translation deficit.

I sure wouldn't mind, but I'm not exactly prepared to be killed/put on trial because I looked to Zionism for inspiration. haha.

Possibly later on, when Arabs come to accepts the many realities they constantly refuse to believe.
